الربان ملزم بأن يمارس القيادة بنفسه وان يكون على متن السفينة عند دخولها الى الموانيء
او الى الفرض او الى الانهر
وعند خروجه منها ، وعليه ان لا يغادرها اثناء السفر لاي سبب او خطر الا بموافقة ضباطها. وفي
هذه الحالة يلزم بانقاذ
المال واوراق السفينة واثمان البضائع اذا تيسر ذلك.
