تجري تسوية الخسائر البحرية في آخر ميناء تقصده الحمولة التي تكون في السفينة وقت
الاهلاك او في مكان انقطاع السفر
بموجب قانون هذا الميناء وهي تتناول القيم الكائنة وقت التفريغ وباعتبار حالة الاشياء
المنقوذة.
وهي تتألف من ثلاثة أقسام:-
1 - تحديد المجموعة الدائنة.
2 . - تحديد المجموعة المدينة
3 . - ايجاد النسبة التي يتوزع بها مبلغ المجموعة الاولى على المجموعة الثانية
