أ- للجهات الخاضعة لأحكام هذا القانون أن تحتفظ للمدة المقررة قانوناً بصورة مصغرة (ميكرو
فيلم أو غيره من التقنيات الحديثة) بدلا من أصل الدفاتر والسجلات والكشوفات والوثائق
والمراسلات والبرقيات والإشعارات وغيرها من الأوراق المتصلة بأعمالها المالية وتكون لهذه
الصور المصغرة حجية الأصل في الإثبات شريطة مراعاة أحكام قانون المعاملات المالية
الإلكترونية.
ب- تعتبر جميع الأعمال التأمينية تجارية بحكم ماهيتها الذاتية بغض النظر عن صفة العميل
المتعاقد أو المتعامل مع الجهات الخاضعة لأحكام هذا القانون سواء كان مدنياً أو تجارياً، وتسري
عليها أحكام قانون التجارة.
