لا تشمل الحماية المنصوص عليها في هذا القانون المصنفات التالية الا اذا تميزت مجموعات
هذه المصنفات بجهد
شخصي ينطوي على الابتكار او الترتيب:-
أ- القوانين والأنظمة و الأحكام القضائية وقرارات الهيئات الادارية والاتفاقيات الدولية و سائر
الوثائق الرسمية والترجمات
الرسمية لهذه المصنفات او لأي جزء منها.
ب- الانباء المنشورة او المذاعة او المبلغة بصورة علنية.
ج- المصنفات التي آلت الى الملكية العامة .
د- الأفكار والأساليب وطرق العمل والمفاهيم الرياضية و المبادئ والاكتشافات والبيانات
المجردة.
