على اصحاب السفن ان يثبتوا رسميا السعة المعدة للاستعمال في سفنهم ( المحمول الصافي
) وكامل سعتها الداخلية مضافا
اليها سعة الابنية المشيدة على السطح ( المحمول القائم ). يعهد بتقدير محمول السفن
وتقويم ملحقاتها وتبيانها الى دائرة
ميناء العقبة التي تنظم شهادة بكل ذلك على نفقة مالكها او منشئها او المؤتمن عليها الذي
يجب عليه ان يقدم الوسائل
اللازمة لتنفيذ هذه الاجراءات.
