تقسم صناديق الاستثمار إلى الأنواع التالية:-
أ - صناديق الاستثمار الخاصة المملوكة للقطاع الخاص.
ب - صناديق الاستثمار العامة المملوكة بالكامل لأي من الجهات المشار إليها في الفقرة (ب)
( من المادة 39 ) من هذا النظام.
ج- صناديق الاستثمار المختلطة التي تساهم فيها الحكومة أو المؤسسات الرسمية العامة أو
المؤسسات العامة أو صناديق الاستثمار العامة مع القطاع الخاص.
