يكون للكلمات والعبارات التالية حيثما وردت في هذا النظام المعاني المخصصة لها أدناه ما
لم تدل القرينة على غير ذلك:-
القانون : قانون التنمية الاجتماعية.
الوزارة : وزارة التنمية الاجتماعية.
الوزير : وزير التنمية الاجتماعية.
الأمين العام : أمين عام الوزارة.
المديرية : المديرية المختصة في الوزارة بتنظيم المهنة والعاملين فيها.
المهنة : مهنة العمل الاجتماعي المنظمة بموجب أحكام هذا النظام .
اللجنة : لجنة العمل الاجتماعي المشكلة بمقتضى أحكام هذا النظام.
