عندما يثبت صاحب السفينة انه قد يجبر في وقت لاحق على دفع احدى الديون المذكورة في
( الفقرة الاولى من المادة 96 ) كلياً
او جزئياً فيمكن للمحكمة او لاي سلطة مختصة في البلد الذي تكونت فيه المؤونة ، الامر
بتخصيص مبلغ كاف مؤقتاً لتمكين
مالك السفينة من ان يستعمل مستقبلا حقوقه على المؤونة بالشروط المبينة في الفقرة
السابقة.
