اذا طرأت حوادث خارقة للعادة تختص بالسفينة او الحمولة او البحارة فعلى الربان ان يرفع الى
السلطات نفسها تقريرا بحريا
يبين فيه زمن اقلاعه ومكانه والطريق الذي اتبعه والطوارئ التي تأذى منها البحارة والسفينة
وكل احوال السفر التي يجدر
تبيانها.
وفي حالة الغرق ينبغي مصادقة الناجين من البحارة على مضمون هذا التقرير.
