ان سند ايجار السفينة هو الذي يثبت استئجارها. وينظم هذا السند بصيغة سند ذي توقيع خاص
محرر على نسختين اصليتين. ويشترط
ان يذكر فيه ما يأتي:-
1 - اسم المتعاقدين.
2 . - اسم السفينة وجنسيتها وحمولتها ما لم يكن قد اشترط ان السفينة تعين فيما بعد
3 . - اسم الربان
4 . - البضائع المطلوب وسقها محددة بنوعها وكميتها
5 .( - اجرة النقل ) بدل السفر
6 . - الوقت والمكان المتفق عليهما للوسق والتفريغ
